February 2024 Updates

We have a situation where we are trapping 8 feral cats and kittens from a local home. The folks that have been watching over them are moving. It would be best to rehome them as barn cats as they are feral. They will be spay/neutered and vaccinated next week and will be going to new homes.

Another Kitten Update

It all started with this picture:

Charlotte “Charlie” of Clan Morningstar

This nose shot of our recent adoption fail on social media prompted replies from her kids:

Laird Roy
Frankie “Bear”
Maxie

So we asked for more pictures of the kittens and boy have they grown!!

We’ll keep updating on our siblings and their mom as we can. If you want to follow Roy, he can be found on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Wee-Laird-Roy-of-Clan-Morningstar-100189241791335/

As always, if you can help, please click on the “donate now” button to help us care for the animals.

Who is CARA?

CARA (Coastal Animal Rescue and Adoption) is a nonprofit organization, entirely run by volunteers and supported by your donations. CARA volunteers work to trap and provide veterinary care for stray/feral animals in the Grays Harbor area. We advocate for trap, neuter, return practices for established feral cat colonies to improve the health of our working cats while preventing overpopulation.
